Lyn is a 2021 Write It Fellow with Penguin Random House, and a 2022 Editorial Mentee with Liminal and Writers SA. Lyn’s writing has been published in Australia, the USA, and the UK, and she is the Co-Founder and Managing Editor of The Saltbush Review.
Lyn’s work was shortlisted for the 2018 Deborah Cass Prize. Lyn was also a 2017 Asialink Arts Resident funded by Arts South Australia and a 2017 WriteNow London participant, having been selected by Penguin Random House UK. Her writing has been Longlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize University of Cambridge and the Richell Prize for Emerging Writers. Lyn was Highly Commended for the Chapter One Prize and the Ray Koppe Young Writers’ Residency.
Lyn has a doctorate from the University of Sydney and she spent a year of research at the University of Cambridge. Born in Western Australia, Lyn grew up in Adelaide and Sydney. She has lived in Australia and the United Kingdom, and spent significant time in India. Lyn has taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the humanities and social sciences, and is writing a novel as part of a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide.
